You know JR I have a feeling that we are going to see some real shaking up in the insurance industry. If more states move to a single pay system like NY and VT are proposing this could give health insurance a real run for their money. It could affect life insurance companies and other insurance providers in a profound and unpredictable way Say there is a better alternative to health insurance, less over head and cheaper rates, but you have to fund your own insurance for major medical and disability. I could see rates for workers comp and stuff like that skyrocketing for businesses. Not because the amount of claims increase but because the risk changes. Any thought on the Insurance industry?

The ACA is a bad deal overall in so many ways we probably don't even know about yet.

Little good comes from socialism and similar ideologies, and they do far more harm than good over the long haul IMO. Things like this can literally destroy a country, which may be the plan anyway.

A good rule of thumb the Republican establishment needs to learn is that bills with thousands of pages written by a bunch of socialist elitist used car salesmen in suits are probably not good for the country. And not good for the political careers of those who pass them without even reading them, as the Dems are already learning.
