I ran across a website, new to me, that provides user-contributed reviews on all things financial, e.g., brokers, websites, blogs and newsletters. Investimonials may provide some helpful information for those exploring the investing resources on the web. I haven't really explored it yet, as I'm pretty set in my ways being on the 'net since 1993, but it may be worth a look in your spare time or while silly TV commercials stuff up your favorite programs. Honestly I'm always cautious about user reviews on food and travel and craftsman type sites. I'd apply my usual common sense filter in looking through this one as well, but it is a start. If you look at this site, let board members what you think of it. HTH. YMMV.
Looks like a pretty good source for those always asking "which broker should I start with". But as you said, still need to use common sense rather than trust there reviews blindly.
