Wearables on race - After the global launch of Alta HR in March-end, the wearable king Fitbit's unit shipments plunged 40% year-over-year to 3.4 million in Q2 2017.

You could be right, share price graph isnt shouting buy to me - looks like they are in a very narrow range at the moment:-

Chart breakout on the way? Looks critical to me.

If it breaks above $5.70 then next resistance is $6.25. Interesting graph for a company apparently under so much pressure?

Surely this would be a tasty morsel for a larger fitness/tech company?

This must be a positive development for FitBit:-

The FitBit Ionic differs from the firm's existing Blaze watch in that third-party developers will be able to release apps and watchface designs that can be installed on the device.

It also introduces a sensor that can detect blood oxygen levels.......

I still think this one is ready to go - and yes I do think it would benefit from being part of a larger group with more money to invest in new products and services. Making a personal connection with customers is the hardest part, now begins the sales process :)

Is the graph showing early signs of a breakout? The trading range has narrowed and will likely move sharply higher or lower at some point. My gut feeling......a mover to higher ground.

I think a lot of the bigger players took their eye off the ball and FitBit has come alive again - would this be a tasty acquisition for Apple?
