Having lost some of the territory they'd seized in Iraq, ISIS now wants to spread the "sectarian conflict" which they took advantage of [to establish their "Caliphate"] to other nations hoping that Sunni extremists from all over the Arab world would join their ranks and make the terrorist organization more formidable. The self-proclaimed Islamic State Caliph urged his followers in Saudi Arabia, "to start their Jihad by killing Shiites first."

It looks like the tide is starting to turn against the terrorists and this latest development further proves that it's but a matter of time before they are totally crushed.

I hope so Rainman, i hope so, in regard to your last statement there, i hope an end to all this terror comes to a mighty end one of this fine days...enough of living in fear every now and then of where they might or might not strike next. :(

ISIS might still have a foothold in Syria because of the political instability there right now. If Iraqi forces and other fighters keep up the good work, they'll drive the terrorist group out of Iraq and hemmed in Syria, they'll be broken. The problem though is once one terrorist organization is destroyed, another pops up to fill the void. Who knows if it's Shia's who'll be murdering Sunni's next.

I do hope that the terrorists get crushed, there is so much evil that is uncountable that they have done to many humans, it is about time they were shut down.

It's about time! Many of those evil doers who attacked the US during 9/11 were Saudis and Egyptians. It appeared they never fully supported us in the war against fundamentalist terrorists. Now they have been targeted. Now they are threatened. How much would you bet that the entire peninsula would rise against ISIS/ISIL. Now, if and only if the Turks would rise against ISIS/ISIL then their threat would die in its tracks.

Any man who calls himself The Caliph would eventually attempt to secure the country that holds Mecca. Therefore it was only a matter of time before that House of Saud was targeted by the man who has the nerve to call himself the true Caliph.

Same old story unfortunately. They will be disbanded and regroup after US crack down on them. Hide amongst innocent people and force bombs in the air to kill them and the innocent so more people are driven to their cause.

ISIS has been fighting in the region for some years now, they don't seem to recognize any borders so they are just fighting their "holy" war against everyone that doesn't agree with them.

The irony. The Saudi's have been financing terrorists for decades. Now these monsters are going to be marching on the Kingdom. I'm sure the House of Saud will expect us to save them though.

Yeah, I don't feel any sympathy towards those regimes either. There would be less terrorism in the area if these guys didn't have oil money to fund their agendas.

Funny thing is the Kurdish fighters in Kobane at one time said the Arab warplanes which were supposed to be bombing ISIS dropped their bombs in open fields and returned to whatever base they came from. The Saudis after funding and sympathizing terrorist groups now get a dose of their own medicine. It appears like the Arab world will eventually go back to the days of the so-called holy wars but with the availability of weapons what we're looking at is a bleak future in the Arab world. Any Western countries that will be foolish enough to involve themselves in the conflicts will end up wasting a lot of money for nothing . . . but of course they could always steal some oil.
