I predicted some years ago that groups like Anonymous will become some of our most important lines of defense, some of our most useful tools. The question is how tech savvy our enemies become, and what will they be capable of, what sort of damage could they do, since so much of the developed world runs on technology now.
I was thinking maybe a disgruntled western jihadist could call up the ISIS help desk and order up a suicide bomber for his rowdy neighbor who insists on eating pork, drinking alcohol, and letting his wife drive, vote, and go out in public showing skin? Or maybe ordering a stoning or beheading for the gay guy across the street?
