I've had a generally positive experience with cryptocurrencies. Say what you will about volatility, but it can be extremely profitable if you get in and out on the right waves. Of course predicting those waves is a whole other matter. Last year I had doubled my investment a week after my initial deposit. I've also dabbled in some of the alt-coins like Litecoin. I'm no expert by any means but I've done okay.
