Elijah Alfred Alexander Jr., alias Nature Boy for discarding shirt and shoes, spends most of his time in a park across from the White House, chatting with tourists and workers in the district. The Washington Post wrote an interesting feature (https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...243a56-7152-11e5-8d93-0af317ed58c9_story.html) on this Vietnam Veteran. Elijah has quite a following on Facebook. His voluminous web site (http://prop1.org/protest/elijah/home.htm) is an interesting read; I'm still working on it. I can't say I agree with his ideas, but it is very evident that he is a thinker. Food for thought... YMMV.
Interesting human being indeed. A lot of what he writes seems a little... unbalanced lets say. BUT sometimes those who seem "crazy" have moments of profound insights.
He certainly seems like a character, although I have to admit I've never heard of him before. Sometimes the deepest thinkers can appear crazy so I'm guessing this is what that guy is all about. I'm not sure even if his ideas are world changing he'd get the recognition he's deserve but I don't think he'll be too concerned about that though either.
He has a passion and a big heart. With that positive energy, I am sure he will go places if he is not there already.
