The share price is hovering dangerously close to some support lines - might need a big announcement to push clear otherwise it could get dragged downwards.

Not looked at Netflix for a while - all seems fairly calm at the minute.

However, the shares are slowly but surely edging higher in line with the moving average - I dont think this can continue much longer. Either the shares will move sharply higher or break through the thin line betweeen the price and support line. Any views?

Small sign that the run might be coming to an end? Testing support?

I bought back in lightly on the dip a couple of days ago.

If Netflix was to fall back too far I reckon it would be a takeover target - it might fair better as part of a larger all encompassing media group?

I also think Netflix could become a takeover target at some point - maybe there was a bit of takeover speculation behind the recent rally?

A few of the better performing techy shares of late seem to be experiencing a bit of profit taking. Might be time to start dipping toes in the water again :)

Xmas new subscriber numbers should make interesting reading? A buy on sentiment momentum in the short term?

There is nothing wrong in buying a batch of these long term tech leaders and just tucking them away. It is getting harder and harder for new entrants to make a splash. If they are a threat they get taken over, if not, they are crushed by the giants.

Have the shares risen too far to get taken over? Not in my opinion - just look at some of the mega billion dollar deals which have happened in recent times. In this day and age it seems that no company is too big to get taken over :)
