Hello! My name is Tiffany and I'm a 23 year old woman. I'm new to this forum, but also new to the world of stocks. I joined in the hopes that I'll be able to pick up some pointers so that I'll possibly be able to start handling my finances a little better.

Welcome! Lots of good info here.

I'd definitely recommend reading a few books when you have time - Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch, Ken Fisher, and William O' Neil are a good start.

I wish I'd had access to the information you do now online when I was your age - I'm exactly twice your age.

If you can start now putting $100 a week into a Roth IRA, you'll likely have ~ a couple of million dollars in 40 years. If you have an employer who offers a matching 401k, you'll likely have far more if you put $100+ a week of your own money into that plan with some matching.

    Welcome!

23 is a great time to start working on your personal finance!

Be mindful there are two sides to PF, one is investing the money you have but the other is saving money to invest.
When you are young and not making a lot, having a budget and saving money is WAY more important than investing.

If you only do one thing, please read Mr .Money Mustache's blog.
