No, this time they didn't kill someone but they did . . . overstep.

NYPD officers investigating a noise complaint at a gay man's home dragged him out of the house and beat him up whilst yelling homophobic slurs.

What's really disturbing is that despite pleading with the officers to be careful with his foot [he'd recently had surgery] the sadists thought it would be a good idea to step on that foot. It's going to take a really long time for "police reforms" to have any palpable effect.

And you think this kind of stuff is limited to New York? I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Chicago, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Detroit... and the beatdown goes on. On that note, the police have there have their hands full. Last night a Memphis officer was shot and killed in a traffic stop, and in Brooklyn two incidents had the PD busy. Nine persons were shot at 2 am in a party, and a street gun battle tagged another two. It was 1 day off a (full) blue moon. Pfft.

This is just ridiculous. I don't understand how can a cop do this to someone. We are not able to trust many people, but we should at least be able to trust NYPD. It's situations like this where people feel the need to go crazy on cops.

He's going to be a rich man and the officers in question will be fired and probably never get another job or at least it's going to be difficult. They'll probably get a job as a mall security guard or something.

I'm glad they got it on video. It makes a stronger case against the officers. Social media and smart phones in general are catching these guys in the act and it is showing the world that these things are happening all the time. Not only to black people, but to everyone.
