What do you think about using peer to peer lending to fund a new venture? From my gathering, the loans appear to be smaller and perhaps easier to obtain than a traditional loan ("easier" if you are already familiar with the type you are borrowing from and have clear outlined goals). I've looked at a number of P2PL sites and the loans on these particular sites tend to range form $1k to $3k. It also seems easier to get a good personal loan this way. Has anyone recently tried this type of crowdlending for anything? What source did you use, and what is some of the best advice you can provide for obtaining peer lending? Also, what would be your advice for someone who may decide to become a lender. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
