People deserve to be paid to live in assurance that basic needs be met. They should also be given the oppurtunity to progress as in f their job for their hardwork. It is however only fair that people are compensated for their hardwork of studying by higher pay and better standards of living
I don't think so. I said if EVERYONE had their wages increased (not just minimum wage workers) then even the CEOs and top 1% would have more purchasing power. They'd then buy even more expensive property and yachts and so on, and that money would then be pumped back into the economy. Now, if ONLY minimum wage were raised, then the companies that you're talking about would make a larger profit than everyone else, I agree.
