It looks unlikely the bid will succeed but you just never know in this market - we have seen stranger things happen!
Some are speculating that AVGO will come back with a higher bid. QCOM is moving higher today. I may buy back into QCOM lightly if it falls again. I am still long AVGO.

Thats more like it! Looks as though QCOM is in play. We are seeing a growing number of well know names under pressure - Mattel is another attracting unwanted attention.
What are the prospects in the short to medium term? The shares seem to have formed a base and are clawing their way back up. Might they still be a bid target at some point?
