Backdated in Oct 2020, I planned to open an account in Etoro and asked for their help to answer few question before I fund the account. My account manager called me and explained few queries “despite the minimal knowledge that he has in trading”. That time I was living in KSA but my permanent address was Jordan. So I asked him a simple question, which country shall I use as the address? His answer was Australia as the bank that I will use is a Bank account domiciled in Jordan. Later, thing was so good, Pros : their interface is super easy to use, social platform is excellent, copy trade is a great tool & many ways to fund the account Cons : crypto spread is humongous, account manager does not respond from first time, ticketing cycle is just a waste of time, technical tools are limited, withdraw the fund takes time and the bad part that whatever you ask, the money withdrawn will be sent always depend on the accountant whom approved the transaction . e.g. one day I funded $24K using a credit card, and since then any withdraw request is by default goes to this credit card no matter if you ask them to send it to a specific bank account nor to the moon. And after 8 months “late May 2021” I received an email stating than Jordan residence traders cant trade cryptos any more due to new regulations ! I give a call to the account manager who has no idea. He came with a very stupid idea that since you are living in Saudi Arabia from a while why don’t I submit a request to my team to change the address for you ?. Knowing that Saudi also not allowing crypto trading but only for new users “old users wont affected from the new regulations”. Wow good let’s do it, thanks for this brilliant advise < I said So he submitted a request and few days later the address was changed to Saudi Arabia but unfortunately it was followed by an email instantly that “dear customer you have only 5 days to close all your position, withdraw your money and close your account” . I gave a call and he stupidly answered, they considered you as a new customer living in Saudi Arabia and I can’t change this decision ! he was very rude. So I closed all the open positions with loses and I asked them to send it my bank account located in Denmark “but as stated before they didn’t” and the frustrated part that they split the amount into 6 payments which caused me to pay my local fees 6 times. After one day I signed in to my account to see the status of my withdrawn money and you know what ? account is blocked Simply, I am paying for the weak experience of their employee and I was treated so badly as if I am nothing “no matter I said or did, they do whatever they like. The journey of getting it back is a story to tell another day, but my appreciation goes to the company "claimchargeback. com" They helped me redeem my funds back and repatriate my lost capital and a significant portion of my ROI after opening a case with them on the advice from FCA. you can file a report with support@claimpayback. com .
