The Clintons do not lie, they just forget what the meaning of is is. All politicians lie, it is the nature of the beast.
Just leave the BS meter in the middle of a joint session of congress and you will have enough energy for the whole planet. Yes, it comes with the job and the nature of the beast. Makes you wonder what is really going on in their heads as they address the nation and then have to listen to special interest groups in the background reminding them of what to say.
I think that is cute. Individuals who are politcos in general although not necessarily "lying" are certainly adept a evading and not telling the whole truth. No wonder the country is interested in having non politicians in office. They want people in the oval office they can trust to tell them the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help them God.
All politicians BS to a certain extent. It's just part of the profession. You can blame the politicians, sure. But a large chunk of the blame goes to the voters. Some just don't want to be told the truth. They want to be told they're going to get freebies and arent going to have to pay for it. They want to be told they can live at the expense of others. The Clintons definitely take the art to whole new levels though. They are just so full of it.
That was a funny thread to start! Unfortunately all politicians lie though and it is just a fun game to pick out what lies are from fact. We will hear a bunch more BS by the time the elections are over.
It's a sad time when politics and lies go hand in hand but sadly we've come to a point now we're it's hard to trust what any if them say. They lie to get your vote, then lie when that actually get to power aswell, as the old joke goes...how do you know when a politician is lying? Because he's talking...
It really is the truth.. the lies ´my guy´ tells are not important, but the lies of the other side are mortal sins. The reality is most politicians do not lie to convince people who think they are lying.. they only lie to give their supporters a viable excuse. It is like a cheating husband with a weak-minded wife. The wife catches the husband, but all the husband needs to do is give the flimsiest of excuses and the weak-minded wife will believe him. The same is true of about 60% of voters ( 30 on each side). Intellectually they don´t need to believe the lie, they just need enough of an excuse to help them forget it. The only rule of polticis is NEVER admit you lied.. always find some excuse.
