Renting to Family

    Absolutely. When family takes the front line and get into the picture they expect to have a sense of entitlement that leaves you with empty pockets. I think there is something to be said about renting to a stranger. You realize with someone you don't know you can easily take them to court if you need to because they owe you money without feeling like your causing a ripple in your home life. That's the important factor that I look at the end of the day. I hate to think of how you have to deal with all the back and forth outside the court room.
