Banning religious drawings IS a sign that the terrorists are winning though, going back 20 or even 10 years ago, we didn't have any problems with children drawing what they wanted, but now all of a sudden were having to ban certain things. While we might pretend that the terrorists aren't winning and they aren't having an effect on our everyday lives, it's stories like this that prove that's not the case.
It's just that people have learned to play it safe. It might appear like terrorism is winning but IMHO I think that people are learning to respect the beliefs of others. Live by the golden rule, make no attempt to provoke others [like they did in Texas (re: the draw Mohammad contest)] and maybe some terrorist won't try to blow you up. Apparently though without doing anything, just being non-Muslim makes us enemies of terrorists.
