What if we turn a blind eye to what they keep feeding us via social media, will it change?... I understand social media is most viral but if we happen to ignore their antics and fanaticism, what will happen?...just thinking out loud!

Gulf News story: Counter-terrorism centre launched in Abu Dhabi

"Abu Dhabi: A new counter-terrorism centre was launched in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday to fight Daesh’s (the so-called Islamic State militant group) online propaganda and recruitment."

"Co-founded by the UAE and the United States, the Sawab Centre will work with governments in the region and around the world, including from the 63-country coalition that is confronting Daesh."

    A second article is here.

Some may question how successful this effort might be, but at least it is a first step in the right direction. I haven't found a URL yet, but a Twitter account -- @sawabcenter -- is active. YouTube videos are posted. Hopefully, with the facility sited in the UAE, it won't fall into USA Congressional partisan politics and the rudderless administration. Let's hope.

How can countries run by Dictator's keep porn out of their countries, but we can't keep ISIS out of our OS? Blame "Free Speech." its an American idea/ideal, we shouldn't share it.

There is a great line in the Douglass Adams book Hitchhikers Guide to the ******... There was a hugewar, where thousands of planets were attacked by a single planet....someone first learning of this said ´how could one planet almost defeat the entire universe´.. and the reply was ´they wanted it, we didn´t... they were passionate, we weren´t ´

It is funny to watch the social media war with ISIS because it reminds me of that.
