Exactly. I can see why some might think Canada adopting the USD is a good idea but it's not really. Typically the Canadian dollar always sits 10%-20% below the USD.
Well, the thing is, if something holds for cultural reasons, when we talk about economy, its irrelevant. After, I may believe Canada has a more diverse economy than that, but I'm more for unifying. I mean, do you find they are lookalike between Germany and France? And Spain and Lithuania? If you wonder, they are 1,500 mi apart, so we can't really talk about the fact they are close or not. As well, German, Italy and France are inside the G8. It does not mean they are lookalike as well. I often tend to defend unity and when something is seperate, the reason must be convincing to me and strong enough. After, I listen to what you say, no worries, but I have still arguments against as well.
