Obviously I'm kidding but it was good see the effects of a bit of central bank intervention coming to the fore, whether it was comments from Fed members (thank you, William Dudley) or cash being thrown into the system (thank you, People's Bank of China). So there's a little bit more confidence for now but ultimately it all comes back down to the economy.
Yeah, the actual economy in the USA and China are doing fine, this horrible august was simply caused by China´s gov´t setting bad policy last year, and then knee-jerking to it last week. It is possible that the overall economies will be heart by what happened last week, but not in a major way. it is mostly just the financial markets that are impacted.
