As you may know, there were some rather embarrassing allegations made about the Prime Minister of the UK, David Cameron, this week. Ranging from Class A drug use to putting a certain part of his anatomy into a dead pigs mouth, he's currently a laughing stock. I was wondering whether other countries were laughing too? I'm not sure he'll ever be able to recover from these allegations, they're pretty crazy! Should he resign or just ride it out?
Well I dint think there's any chances of him resigning, not when he's got it so good and so I think he'll just ride it out and it will all blow over. Stories like that sell papers and cause short term embarrassment but nothing more serious than that I don't think.
I saw this on some site referred to as the " past misdeeds of English leaders." Well, the allegations are pretty embarrassing but who doesn't have some dark secret which wold embarrass them if it was revealed? People love to judge others too much forgetting that they too aren't perfect. The PM shouldn't resign.
While I'm sure your right, everybody will have done things in the past that they aren't proud of, although I do think that sticking your genitals in the mouth of a dead pig isn't usually one of them, like it is in this case. Your right though, does this affect his ability to run a country? No, of course it doesn't, so he shouldn't resign over it. He should instead resign because he is slowly but surely killing the working class and lining his own pockets with the result of the cuts. Elderly, young children, there's more people relying on food banks in the UK now than what there ever has been and that figure us rising daily. There's more people living in poverty than what there ever as been, with many vulnerable people being left to fend for themselves, often to be forced out of their homes and on to the streets. THEY...are the reasons he should resign, and not for what he did on a night out years ago.
It's pretty disgusting what he did I think and apparently it was all part of some ritual which I just can't quite seem to get my head around... He probably shouldn't, or wouldn't resign over it, but I do agree with what pwarbi is saying. He is making living conditions very difficult for those in less fortunate circumstances and now that we have his part in power for another 5 years it looks like it will only get worse.
It was as it turns out part of a ritual that him and his old boys club went through, but the fact he was part of this so called club in the first place casts doubts over his ability to represent all classes of the UK and not just the rich.
