Video games are my primary outlet. XBOX and PC are the best entertainment sources I could ask for. In addition to video games, XBOX One has voice commands for TV, netflix apps, etc. It's really sweet.
I mostly play videogames as well, when I'm alone that is. When I'm with friends I'll most likely either go to the movie theater or to a quiet bar with live music.
I do play table tennis for fun, I find it as a perfect way to pass time, at the same time doing something I like and getting my work ot on at the same time.
Alone: I like to read books, watch movies, and go to the beach. With others: I like to dance and eat out. I really like going to cafes or restaurants that have ocean views. A perfect moment out is place with good food, comfortable seating, an ocean view, great weather, and a good dance - music preformance. I love watching flamenco dancers dancing to live flamenco music.
Fun...what is fun? Right now I work a full time job, plus do some freelance work When I need to get away, we go drive to the other side of the state and hike some mountains or play in the lake. I also like to sew and do a lot of that for fun.
I watch movies, read an interesting book, or surf the net, although i would like to play online poker {need to learn first}, i understand fantasy football is fun too....that one can play and actually win some $$ {anyone with ideas in this regard, help, give some advice i will appreciate}.
I read books, watch movies but what I came to love most is modeling. Not posing for photos and stuff — 3D modeling. It's probably the most fun activity I can think of. You not only pass time doing something you enjoy but at the end of it, there's a product to show that your time wasn't wasted. You guys should trying learning how to create 3D art and see if you won't like it.
Besides all related to investing, I enjoy socializing, cooking / grilling / bbq-ing, eating, working out, reading, watching movies / tv, surfing the internets, etc. I generally try to get out at least one night a week to the casino / restaurants / pubs and cut loose a little - a nice meal, a few drinks, etc.
I enjoy hiking, and apparently there are a multitude of benefits from just being in nature. I also like playing video games, but I've found that I've become more and more bored of them over the years. Has anyone had this happen to them? I also love to play hockey when I have the chance, as you can't really be a true Canadian without playing hockey, right?
