What Do You Do If Your Tenant Disappears?

This has happenen to me before, what I did was, I went to the authorities and informed them about the situation, they gave me two cops who came with me as witnesses as I broke the door, we both took records of what was in the house, then I kept the tenanats belongings in storage, t hat is how I handled the situation and up to date the tenant has never come back.
