Dreaming is ok but it is all about waking up every morning and working hard while taking care of your health and your money. Once you learn how to do that, things will come together. And...don't waste any more of your time dreaming about "Making a difference" "Making the entire world s better place" "Saving the planet so Polar Bears can drink bottle of Coca Cola with Penguins" (Never mind that they don't even live together) or making sure every single person in the world gets treated 100% fair and equal 24/7/365. You are just one person and fact is until you have real money you are pretty much a nobody. Once you make money you can throw some of it away giving it so some stupid cause that will just waste it or steal it. My bet is that once you really learn how to make money and are at a 6 figure salary level and working on saving a million or 2 or 3 you will be too smart to fall for any of that and will be very careful where you donate any of your money. It is called Reality in a cold cruel world but there are GREAT Rewards for those smart enough to work hard.
My dream currently is to work as an expatriate in a foreign country and it just about to be realized...oh i can't wait, i can't wait
I don't really use the word dream... except about things that are so big that they will never happen. There are a lot of those of course! But I do have quite a few goals in my life that I'm working towards... having my own house, a lovely dog, maybe even some sort of a girlfriend at some point, and a decent income from my investment hobby of course to finance all of the above.
Now I like that idea for a dream and there is a good chance that you will learn a few things that you really won't be expecting to learn that will make money for you down the road because you went out and worked in another country.
When I was younger I had wild dreams. I wanted to be president. Wanted to be an astronaut, etc. But as I grew up I decided to pursue other things. This time I had a clear goal set. I wanted to be one of the best at a craft [which I don't talk about anymore]. It took 8 years of hard work but at the end of it all I got what I wanted but the satisfaction I was hoping for . . . I didn't get. Dreams are a good thing but achieving them doesn't make you feel any better. Once you get what you are after, you'll still want more. That's why I don't have any more dreams.
My dream I want to be a fine General Surgeon, have a beautiful family with wifey suited to me and brilliant kids, have a nice big house and a good ride, have my mom and sibling taken care of by me of course. and a happy, meaningful life of course
MY dream is to one day own a medical diagnostic center, wher the extra extra profits I would use to enable battered women.
My dream is to succeed in my business and get rich. Of course, not materially, but morally... to know I have done something in this short timespan life.
Dreaming is free, so I dream with a healthy life when I can achieve my goals, and this involves happiness for me and all those around me.
