Famous personalities could go to the extent of having each part of their body insured to have a sense of security. I on the other hand as an ordinary person have my own retirement insurance plan so I would have something more to look forward to once I'm older. A relative of mine recently applied for a death benefit insurance. How about you guys, what type of insurance do you have right now?

Well I live in Europe so health insurance is pretty much taken care of through the public healthcare system. On top of that I do have a small insurance in case of death, nothing much but enough to cover all sorts of costs so my relatives don't have to worry about that part in case something happens to me.

I have health insurance as the public system doesn't cover for my needs. Also, with my insurance I can pick the hospital or clinics I go to, so basically I agree with the saying that health has no price.

Health / dental insurance, longterm care insurance, a little of both term life and whole life insurance, and a few bucks in a variable annuity I'm letting grow for at least another 14-15 years.

I currently have health, dental, vision, and life insurance. I am not sure why one would call it life insurance, because it is really death insurance. I thought about getting long term disability, but have not signed up for it yet.

I am curious to see how health insurance in the US changes over the next couple of years now that we our bound by Obama Care now!

Insurance is a sweet thing, I realize now that having a good insurance (life insurance) can make you and or your beneficiaries wealthy. I am going to invest in or buy into one of those policies real soon! I live in the Caribbean, we get health insurance by virtue of working or owing a business and paying the premiums monthly. I don't have health insurance yet-but I'm soon to get one. So for now, I have my eyes on health and life insurance. Need I say anything about motor insurance? cause that's just mandatory, lol.

The life insurance offered by my employer is free for employees, but it is not nearly enough in terms of supporting my family in the event that I die. I am going to purchase another plan soon from a private insurance company so that my family would be ok.

The health insurance offered by my employer is not the greatest, but I am a healthy person, so it serves it's purpose right now.

Health and life insurance are two of the most significant type of insurance for me right now. Well, I don't have any health problems right now but who knows what illness will come to me in the future. Having an insurance is a way of assuring yourself and your family of a more secure financial future. I would have to agree with Investor, a good choice of life insurance can make you or your family members more economically secure in the future.

My job covers me fully with dental and health and whatnot, so I am good.

Being in the UK, I don't need health insurance, although I do have a plan for certain circumstances. All the others are just the usual, life, home and car insurance. And they all continue to rise on a yearly basis, even when I've never claimed off any of them, I would just like to add.
