I am a bit of a home body and don't make it out to theaters that often. My closest cinema is about 30 minutes away so I try to only go for films I really want to see immediately. What have you seen recently that you enjoyed? I'm going to go see a movie this weekend but I haven't decided yet.
I haven't been in a theater maybe for a year now. I don't like to go there alone so I always went with my ex girlfriend. The last movies I saw was Fast And The Furious 6 as far as I remember.
Would it be bad to say I can't remember? XD I think it's been a verrrryyyy long time. I am looking forward to a few new films coming out next year but this year is kinda a drag.
LOL You guys are no help! Is going to the movies not popular anymore? I would go more often but it's so far and the prices keep getting higher.
Take it easy jason I go to the movies whenever I can since I get a allowance and some money from Postloop. I think because of all the online services like Hulu some people do not want to go out. I love the movie theaters its a place that has good air conditioning and some decent popcorn and drink. I tend to go on a Tuesday so I do look at those prices to see what I am dealing with.
It has been a long time since I went to the cinema. I enjoyed watching Titanic on the big screen. The last movie that I watched at the cinema was Miss Congeniality; I had gone to the cinema with a workmate. It was what we needed after working so hard that month.
I'm glad to see that someone else gave this answer, too... because I have *no* idea what the last movie was that I saw in a theater! I'm thinking maybe 101 Dalmatians in 1996. Hehe I know, I know... I'm no help either, Jason, right?! To answer your question... considering things like NetFlix and other online movie options, plus the high cost of a ticket when you can soon rent or see something on the computer for a much lower fee, I'd say that it's definitely not popular anymore.
If you couldn't tell, I was only joking in my response. I obviously am behind the times and would not hold it against anybody else for being so too. That being said, I am sort of shocked that nobody has a recent movie to recommend!
THE WOLF OF WALL STREET and before that THE SOCIAL NETWORK. I think the SOCIAL NETWORK is one of the best movies in the last several years.
I'm thinking not many people shell out ten bucks for a movie now when you can get a whole month's worth of daily movies for the same amount of money... plus not having to pay top dollar for theater snacks as well.
