So, last night there was a debate between the final five candidates. It was a real dust up. Trump took a lot of attacks.

So, who do you think won? Thanks for voting and opining.

No one won that Animal House food fight. Carson, Cruz, and Kasich lost as they never made it into the next day's news cycle. As I wrote in another thread, Christie's endorsement of Trump took over the media coverage by midday

LOL! That is a great way to put it. It was a mudslinging extravaganza. Agreed on Carson in particular. He hardly said a word.

This is my take not only about the most recent debate but for all the Republican debates. It seems to me that there are only 2 factions which are the pro-Trump and the anti-Trump. So regardless of the results of the debates, the only way for the other candidates to beat Trump in the Republican nomination is to unite into one force and go one-on-one against Trump. At the rate things are going, they can never beat Trump because politics in a democracy is plain popularity and that is Trump's game ever since.

    I do not repeat myself
    I do not repeat myself
He is the one who repeats himself
    I do not repeat myself

That was probably the funniest moment of the night. When Trump said he does not repeat himself, then immediatedly said it again...

I seriously do not know what Rubio is thinking though. How are they NOT hammering trump on the fact that his ties are made in china and his suits are made in mexico. Holy crap, if I were Rubio, I would bring a tie to every event. Then you wait until Trump says ´it is a business decision´ and then you pounce on him for selling out his country for a few dollars.

I also think the bombshell is coming, and I hope Rubio pounces on it if the tax returns get released. They are going to show that Trump donated more to Hillary Clinton than he did to veteran organizations. I would say that every 5 minutes. I am also surprised they haven´t brought up that Trump took veterans to court to prevent them from selling things on the sidewalk in front of Trump towers. NYC has a nice little law that says any veteran can use any public sidewalk to sell things.. they get automatic permits. Trump sued like 16 times to have the sidewalk in front of his towers made an exception.

Obviously the Christie endorsement was timed for the media coverage and did the trick. I saw a snippet of the debate and what I do like is the reaction from the crowd, just like a wrestling match. Trump doesn't always have answers, or ones that he can explain. He has a plan, but a plan that isn't original and isn't guaranteed to work.

    Debate > Christie > KKK

The thing I love about Trump is just when you think you can talk about something, he does something else stupid that gives you something new to talk about. I am waiting for Rubio to get a cease and desist letter from Trump regarding talking about his small hands.

it is more exciting this way, can you imagine how boring thigs would be if it were Bush, Rubio, Cruz and Kasich in a debate.
