There is a good point here. For the life of me, I don't get why people blow all their income on stupid junk. Our household lives well below our means, mainly so that we can save and invest for the future. And that is a lot more beneficial than trying to "keep up with the Joneses." The Joneses are probably mouth-breathers who are up to their eyeballs in debt, so why would I wish to be like them?
