Yea, that is an option as well of course... But do you think the money would make you happier in that case? think I would rather keep living the way I do right now (with friends and family etc nearby) than moving away with a huge amount of money on my bank account... Unless you have a shitty life of course, than you would probably be better off moving away.
Imagine having that much money to spend. Just crazy man! Would treat myself to a lot of things but also save some just in case.
Oh man, even 1 million would ensure all my life, as I don't intend to use that money for lambos and such ephemeral things! The biggest issue to overcome is to actually win it instead of making unfair presumptions. Who knows, I might be successful, but I do hope it will not be at my retirement.
I've always wanted to win the lottery, but in my state (Tennessee) I do not believe there is an option to anonymously accept the winnings, which is incredibly disappointing. I know that if I won, family members that "have always known and loved me" that I barely even know would try to become my best friend, as opposed to if it was anonymous, in which I would buy some nice things, donate some, and help my family out. I would never let many people (if any) that I actually won it.
That is alot of money, I wonder what or how he will begin spending his money, that is what we call getting to become a millionare instantly.
For the love of god the things I could do with that money. I just hope it goes to someone who can invest and doesn't just blow it all immediately on dumb stuff. Too many of those winners have no clue how to handle that kind of money and never seek advice from proper sources, sadly.
That is an insane amount of money! I don't play lottery because simply I win more by not playing it. Chance to hit the jackpot is so minor that it is more likely to get struck by a lightning. However, those jackpots have so huge amounts that I would go completely crazy of it.
173 million minus federal taxes is still a huge amount of money to be receiving. I would invest as much of it as I can to live comfortabley off the interest, and then probably give some to my father and close friends. I would also not do a "real job" per say, but maybe find a fun thing that I would like to do, that lines up with my interests and desires. Like open a gym, that would be cool.
I don't know if I could ever spend such a crazy amount of money. It's such a huge number that I can't wrap my head around it all. I really wonder what super rich people do with their money - there's only so much you can buy, visit or invest...
Holy...that is a crazy amount. I assume they'd donate to charities after buying/investing just to burn through all that cash.
